Its ok to get it done, i am very young and i have it done..although the is a risk of infection. here is what they do:
1. They get you and parent/guardian to sign a permission slip.
2. Open the needle.
3. Answer any questions you want to know.
4. Get the sterile bar.
5. Put on the clamps
6. Tell you what you'll feel, sharp but beirable pain and then tugging.
7. Peirce it.
8. Put in the bar...its a very big bar incase of swelling.
9. Tell you to clean it and what to do it with and what to eat.
after it gets quite sore and white or yellow or a bit of a bluesh tinge on your toungue, but wash it with mouthwash or salt water and it will be fine. after the swellings went down go in the shop you got it done in and buy a bar (that is the safest option).
