Can someone with a learner's permit drive outside of the state in which it was issued? |
Answer
Maybe
It varies on which state you are driving from. In Missouri, where I reside, you cannot drive out of state unless you have acquired your Full Driver's Licsence. Intermediate Liscenced drivers can only be out on the road IN STATE and during daylight hours only, except when traveling between work/school and the driver's place of residence. Learner's permits are required to stay with in the the city limits of where they reside(whether it be inside the limits or out of), I strongly urdge to check the State Law where you reside, before attempting to drive anywhere on a learner's permit.
Connecticut - Yes. See weblink.
Massachusetts - Seems to be yes. See answer to FAQ question 9 in Mass Faqs weblink
