Can something be created from nothing?

In: Science
[Edit]

Yes.

Really?

If the foregoing answer is correct, I sure would appreciate a more thorough explanation.

IN ADDITION:

Since the big bang is a theory, its the only thing I can think of where something was created with nothing. Other than this, I would say no.

Answer

It cannot be scientifically proven by man at the present time, as far as I know, that something can be created from nothing, because no human being can do it. Therefore this is more of a religious belief question, and I do believe that God can and has created something out of nothing.
