Your baby isn't really affected by your spicy eating habits. You may want to cut back though if you start having bad heartburn. The combination of the spices and the excessive acid production in your stomach may damage your stomach lining.

Hot temperature - You cannot eat something that is too hot. If it hurts you, it could hurt the baby, but it the body works hard to keep the entire system at 98.6 degrees.

Hot spicy - Most mothers have heart burn issues to begin with, so spicy doesn't help. When breast feeding, it can have an affect on the breast milk.

The baby is safe inside of you if you get burned by hot water.

However, it is important to keep your body temperature from elevating, such as would happen if you spent an extended amount of time in a hot tub.

Since any food that you eat ends up feeding your baby as well, they will get the spicy food that you eat. It may upset them and that's when you notice their restlessness.

Should water be cloudy from hot water heater?

Cloudy water indicates you have air mixed with the water. It is common for hot water to be cloudy when you first turn on the faucet. It should become clear in a few seconds. The air in the water will do no harm. If you have a well then there may be a problem with the well. Have it looked into by a professional.

What temperature of water would burn a child?

If you have kids, you know that kids love to play with water. The kitchen sink, the bathroom sink and the tub are the favorite places to play. The problem comes when a child accidentally turns on the hot water. If the pre-set temperature for the water heater is too high, a child is easily scalded by the water. If the temperature is set at 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), a scald takes only a few seconds. If it is set to 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), a scald is almost instantaneous.A scald can be a serious injury because it can cover a lot of skin area. For example, your child can burn all of the skin on both hands. Having first-degree or second-degree burns covering that much surface area can be quite painful for your child. The solution to this problem is extremely easy. Hot water heaters have adjustable thermostats on them. The thermostat may be out in the open, or behind a cover plate. Simply turn the temperature down to 120 degrees F (49 degrees C). At that temperature, the water is much safer for children. And for adults -- you too will be much safer in the shower.Steps you can takeNEVER leave a child unattended in the tub.Turn the thermostat on the hot water heater down to 120 degrees F. A day later, check the temperature of the hot water coming out of the tap with a thermometer.Avoid hot water scalds from falling pots and pans on the stove.WARNING!Temperatures Higher Than 140 degrees can really harm a child I am certainly not responsible for any harm conducted to a child for your purposes Use This Information at your own RISK!!!
