Answer:
I do not know about the Adderall, but I can tell you over a period of years (10-12) that I have gone off and on multiple vitamins. I have taken multiple vitamins (good high quality like Nutralite). After I turned 50, I began to notice a pattern that associated minor to severe depression with taking vitamins again.
I have struggled with this notion because"vitamins are good for you"! As a compromise, I have backed the dosage down from daily or twice daily to every other or every third day. That seems to help the depression subside so I am as sure as one person can be that they can initiate or at least aggravate depression.
I come from a strong background in the biosciences and this is definitely not what they taught us in school. But, here I am living proof.
I believe that different people's systems may react to various input in not common ways and thus they fall outside of normal parameters. Also, what worked fine last week may not work at all this week or it may even produce opposite results because of a chemical, hormonal, physical or mental change.
You could be one of those people as am I. Try spacing the dosages out further like one dose every four days. See if that still gives you the same results. Remember, if your body reacts differently, only you can know what is really going on inside. Since vitamins are not a prescription for a specific ailment, you can vary the doses without fear of negative results like not taking the full amount of an antibiotic. Balance your need for nutritional supplementing your vitamin intake with your need to stay mentally upright.
And good luck on your quest for good health.
