YES. Any chemical medication is poison. Try working your way around your pain by other means, like natural remedies (but these can be hurtful to babies too, watch out some herbs are toxic to infants). First question is, what is the cause of your pain? Adressing the cause is the way to go, not dulling the pain.
Yes taking pain killers can hurt the baby any doctor will tell you that. You can only take pain medicine without acetimenophen.
Yes some of them can indeed hurt the baby. You should always ask a doctor or a pharmacist if they medicine is safe to take. Tylenol, or the store brands that have acetaminophen, are generally considered relativly safe. Defininatly avoid aspirin or Ibuprofen, they can harm the baby. I try to avoid pain medication if I can just to be safe, but there are times when the pain has been bad enough that I did need some. If you can get away with not taking it for mild things, like minor headaches, I would.
Strange it should still hurt after medication
You should ask your doctor to get the best medication for your pain taking into account the possible cause of the pain.
Overall, you shouldn't be on any pain medication for long periods of time, but if you are only taking one per day it should not hurt you.
Braces DO NOT hurt being put on at all ... what they do is put a gel on your teeth and harden it with your brace on then after all the braces are harden they put the bracket in but THEY DO hurt a little the first couple of days or so but taking medication will ease the pain :)
Pain in the ovaries is not a symptom of pregnancy. There is no reason for your ovaries to hurt, except maybe in later pregnancy when the baby is taking up a lot of nearby space.
Go to the Dr.
If you know you have a kidney stone you must have been diagnosed by a doctor. Call that doctor and ask about possible painkilling medication. At eight months you can't afford to take any chances.
When your stomach hurts, there are many things you can do to help soothe the pain. You can try taking a nap, drinking some Ginger Ale, taking a medication like Pepto-Bismol, or using a hot water bottle or heating pad.
