I doubt it. Once your brain is without oxygen for even a few minutes, it can have long term effects. Now, if the heart attack happend, but the heart started working again before the 6 minutes, there might be a better chance.

How does the heart keep the blood moving in the body?

The heart has an area called the sinuatrial node, often called the SA node, in the upper right atrium. The SA node is responsible for generating a never-ending series of rhythmic electrical pulses that radiate through specific electrical conduction pathways in the heart. The heart muscle contracts when stimulated by one of these electrical pulses. The SA node and the conduction pathways coordinate the timing and delivery of the electrical stimulations at various locations in the heart muscle so that the heart contractions result in a coherent and productive pumping action. For more information, follow the link below to the Wikipedia article on the electrical conduction system of the heart.

Is the heart apart of the circulatory system?

The heart is not considered a part of the digestive system. However you do have to remember that all organ systems are very inter-connected. For example, nutrients that diffuse through the walls of the the small intestine go directly into the bloodstream and are transported the the appropriate part of the body. That blood is pumped by the heart. The organs that are directly involved in digestion, like the stomach or liver, could not stay alive without the constant pumping of blood by the heart. Without the heart, digestion could not occur. On that same token, digestion could not take place without the brain, or the lungs. However neither the heart, the brain, nor the lungs are considered a part of the digestive system.

Does your brain keep your heart going or does you heart keep your brain going?

Your heart supplies the blood to your brain, however even if your brain is "braindead", your heart can still stay beating. The brain relies on the heart but not as much vice versa. When a person dies from a gunshot wound to the head, the body dies and of course, the heart stops. Either way, no-one can live without one, the other or a substitution. They are both essential to survival.

If your heart stops for 5 seconds is it possible to come alive?

Death is medically defined as cesation of the heart beating. Once the heart has stopped beating, you have between 2-6 minutes to get the heart restarted before mild to severe brain damage occurs. During this time, performing CPR can stave off the effects to some extent. In other words, if a person has a heart attack and their heart has stopped, performing CPR on the downed person will sustain the brain getting the necessary oxygen to stay alive as well the allow the heart to perfuse or send blood to vital organs throughout the body. However if the heart is not able to be restarted during this time, then the person is dead. So to Answer the question, if someone is "down" for 20 minutes, with their heart stopped, and it is restarted, there is an extremely high probability of irreversible brain damage/persistent vegetative state. In other words, they are brain dead and not alive even though their heart is still beating. So . . . NO a person cannot live again after their heart has been stopped for 20 minutes.
