Why do you ask................................, but yeah they can.
Added: It depends on the type of system in use. If you are wearing a GPS bracelet/anklet they can track you anywhere. If you are using an older type system and you go out of the range of the transmitter, they may not be able to tell where you went but they WILL know that you left your house arrest - which in itself is a violation for which you can be jailed. Don't abuse the privilege!
It is quite common for the police to tell someone not to leave town, but that is not considered a form of arrest. It just means that the police think that they may need to talk to that person and they want him or her to remain easily available.Added: "House arrest" has nothing to do with an arrest by the police. The police cannot order you to remain in your home or on your property on their own authority."House Arrest" is more correctly described as "House Confinement." It is done by an order of the court and is a lenient method of confinement which restricts the individual to a certain small geographic area, monitored either by irregular visits of an investigator, or by some form of electronic device. To address the question: No, there is no more 'loose' confinement than this method.
The house areest monitors (at least the modern ones) are actually Global Positioning System (GPS) transmitters. If you leave the immediate vicinity of your residence they will set off an alarm at the monitoring agency and be able to tell them exactly where you are.
If the person is in your home uninvited, he has to leave or risks arrest by the law. If you invited him and no longer want him there, you'll need to tell him clearly he's no longer welcome and has to leave. If he does not leave, he'll be subject to arrest as he has become the same as an univited guest.
to protect him

Politely explain to them why they should leave.
The front desk can tell you how to do it.
Ask him/her to leave but if he/she says no then tell an adult that he/she is threatening you
