I cannot be TOTALLY certain; but, I am greatly inclined to believe that my daily use of 300-450mgs of Trazodone is causing me to have SEVERE muscular pain in my lower and upper back and in the hip and buttock muscles. Of course, each specialist who I have seen and my primary doctor and ER doctors have said that it could not be the cause.
What I have noticed is that if I use as much as 450mgs per day, the next day I am in much more pain - much, much, much more pain.
I did have an orthopedist tell me that the pain that I have could, possibly, be due to the medications that I take. I take only one other medication: Klonopin (2mgs per day).
I have read that Trazodone, absolutely, can cause muscle pain and stiffness.
As for me, I am going to start a taper and to taper 12.5 to 25mgs every two weeks. I have read that one can taper much faster, as in cutting 50mgs every three days. I am not brave enough to do this as, in as much that Trazodone seemingly causes my muscle pain, ironically it also seems to give me some relief from Back pain.
Hope this helps

No. Joint pain is not good. Muscle pain can simply be a sign that the workout is pushing you, but joint pain should be investigated.
Yes, a change in elevation can cause joint pain.
Have a look at the posibility of Rheumatoid arthritis.
I do notice they increase muscle stiffness for me. I've never had an issue with b12 by itself but as for taking a B-50 or B-100 complex, I definitely notice increased muscle tension which can lead to joint pain.
Yes
No, it should reduce joint pain
Some people experience joint or muscle pain and some dont. It is not rare to experience knee pain because your body swells when you are menstruating and can cause soreness. ~GFiZZLE
I am in so much joint pain and I am wondering can my hydroclorchlorothiazide be causing the pain.
