depends on how long of relationship u have had with the guy..cause it just could be a major crush..let time play a major role in this situation..over time if u still feel the same way for the guy than yes it could be love..but if u don't feel the same way or passiontley than it just was a phase... so if its love it can wait forever

∙ 16y agoYes it can and it has been done often. During all war times well over 89% of spouses at home waited for their loved one to come back whether they were married or not. Even today there are a few that love each other they will wait until they can be together again, but the stats today are very low. If you both feel you are in love then yes, it can work. It's a risk though.
