It depends on what you mean. If you mean can you play directly off a voice/piano/choir part, the answer is yes, BUT if you are playing on a B-flat Trumpet, you have to transpose the notes or it will sound wrong if you are playing with other instruments. Voice/choir music is basically always written in "concert" pitch, but a B-flat trumpet isn't a concert pitch instrument. For a B-flat trumpet, you play one note higher. If you see a C written, you must play a D to get the right pitch.

However, if you are playing on a C trumpet, you can in fact play exactly what's written without transposing and it will be correct.
