Yes, of course people with Autism can be good parents. Autistic people are as likely to be good parents as neurotypical people, if they have Autistic children then they are all the better for them than neurotypical parents would be as they understand what it's like to be Autistic. As many people with Autism are bullied they can help children to deal with similar problems too.

They can and do.

If the person has a severe case of autism or a severe case of Asperger's Syndrome (another pervasive developmental disorder similar to autism), his or her social skills could be so impaired that he or she does not meet potential romantic interests.

If the person has a mild case autism or a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome, his/her social skills might not be affected very much. They could marry, just like every one else, or not.

It's the desire to socialize that makes an autistic person want to marry; you can be quite severely affected--enough to need an aide and a communication device--and still get married; or you can be quite independent and simply not feel the desire to marry.

Some autistic people are asexual--about ten percent of autistics, as opposed to about one percent of typical people--and prefer friendships or platonic relationships to romance.

Of course, Autism never stops the ability to reproduce. Although they may not want to, it is unpredictable whether they want to or not.

A person can be mildly affected by autism at a specific point in their life, but there is no such thing as a 'mild case of autism' as you are either autistic or you're not. Provided that a person can function well enough to be able to have kids then there is no reason why an autistic person couldn't have kids, autism doesn't effect our reproductive systems.

Even regular autistics can get married, provided they find someone who can love and accept them as they are. Their memory and capacities for strong interests should make them highly preferable as mates. Unfortunately, many people only look at how they communicate, which is a kind of stupid method of judgement.

As to having children, anyone can, provided they have functioning, proper equipment, and a willing person of the opposite gender.

In short, yes we Autistic people can live happy married lives and have children.

Most Autistic people I know are married and do have children, some are married to other Autistic people whereas some are married to allistic people. Being Autistic does not stop us from forming romantic relationships or from being able to care for our children.

Yes. In fact, it is much more likely, because autism is genetic. My parents are both autistic; they had three daughters, and two of the three of us are autistic.

There's no such thing as mild autism, there is just autism.A person is born Autistic, how their autism effects them can vary greatly and change throughout their lives. This is why autism is know an a spectrum disorder. What is mild autism and how do you overcome it?

There's no such thing as 'mild autism' - a person is Autistic, how severely they are affected may vary and change over time. Autism isn't something that you overcome, it's who a person is and like any other neurology they work with their Autism rather than against it to be their best selves.

What is adult autism?

Basicly, autism is something you are born to have, not something that you could grow into. So, adult autism, means that a child with autism grows up and become an adult with autism. However, if you didn't find out that you have autism until you are an adult, then your autism must be the mild kind on the entire autism spectrum.
