if im not wrong, the maps on the iphone are streamed into the iphone using wifi/3g(internet access) from Google using their "Google Maps". so its updated if google updates their maps. thing is, is it possible to download/buy maps for the iphone so i dont have to stream google maps to use the gps?
You cant
Yes. The iPhone has a built-in Maps application that integrates with Google Maps. It also has a built-in GPS on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS models that makes getting directions easier and more accurate.
Yes. They have a free app called "Google Maps" which just opens in your Safari browser. They are working on a new standalone.
If you are using google maps, then yes.
Really google earth is not better than maps google earth on iphone/itouch is slugish and does not run very fast unless you have a good service in the area i recomend sticking to maps on your iphone it's better for portable phones.
Google Maps.
Yes of course it happened 2 me
Google Maps map does not consume the whole screen so the directions are visible to the left of the map. Google maps is more known for its street level views of the satellite picture maps.
It's just a way for you to mark a specific location.
Yes, someone who works for Google does filter the pictures shown on maps in Google Earth. Otherwise, there may be something wrong with the picture if not.
iPad and iPad 2 comes with maps that are on all iOS devices, you can also download google earth for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
