Answering your own questions
Yes. We are building an information resource here.
If you want to help by asking and answering questions as a way to share your knowledge, that's great.
You might intentionally ask questions in a very generic manner, and then answer them as you would any other question. For example, in the Maine History Topic you might notice that there's no information about when Maine became part of the union. So you might ask and answer the question, "What year did Maine become a state?"
