Sure, if by signing you mean sign the petition and schedules that your lawyer has prepared.

If you haven't signed you haven't committed to anything yet.

It might be tough to get a refund though. Your lawyer/preparer has already done the hard part of her job and it wouldn't be fair to give you all your money back.
