Can you be charged with statutory rape if your 17-year-old girlfriend is 8 and a half months pregnant and living with you?

[Edit]

Answer

Depends on the state you live in, how old you are, if her parents file charges. Some states anyone can file charges against you, so it may not matter what her parents say. I'd say more likely than not, because she is 17 and pregnant, most people will stay out of it. But if you are a lot older than her, that might change things. Bottom line, yes it is possible for you to be charged with statutory rape.
