I'm 37 weeks and am experiencing the same thing. I wake up in the middle of the night with lower Back pain and then all day feel as though I have to go, but can't. So I think this is probably normal.
There are no "fake contractions," except when women pretend to be in labor. There is false labor, which is contractions (usually mild and irregular) which do not change the cervix. (Labor is defined as progressive change--dilation and effacement--of the cervix.) Braxton Hicks contractions are real contractions, but very irregular. They can occur any time after 32 weeks of pregnancy, and are usually no more than 2 to 3 an hour.
Maybe.. wait and see if something pops out.
There is really no straight answer for that. Your baby is fully engaged, but that doesn't necessarily mean labor is imminent. It does mean that your body is getting ready though. Good luck!
It can be that you are in labor, regular contractions increasing in frequency, severity and interval , pain radiating from up to back and lower abdomen is a sign of true labor.
What you are experiencing is called Braxton-Hicks contractions. It is perfectly normal. It is the body's way of "practicing" for the real thing. As long as there is no constant pressure on the floor of the pelvis or discharge of blood or liquid, the mild contractions you are feeling is not a threat. Your baby will be born when he or she is ready. The B-H contractions do not mean labor will begin any sooner than is proper.
False labor, or Braxton-Hicks contractions usually occur in the 2 weeks prior to real labor, especially with the first childbirth.
Yes. If you think thats what it is! Anywhere from 30+ weeks means your ready, and can start any moment.
relax and let nature take its course,38 weeks is not to early to go into labor
im the same way except for im three days past due and was on Tuesday 1 cm 75% effaced and had contractions on Thursday at 3 am till 345..so i know what you mean
It is one of the signs of impending labor, but there are many, including contractions, a bloody show, diarrhea, or your water breaking. 40 weeks is full term!
If you aren't yet 37 weeks (full term) and having labor symptoms, you need to contact your Doctor!
We can only guess here so you need to call the hospital and hear what the people there say since they are the ones delivering you.
