Can you be sued and a judgement or lien be placed on your property for an unsecured credit card debt? |

Answer
Yes. Property liens are one of the ways creditors "secure" their possibility of collecting a debt. Creditors prefer a simpler more expediant solution such as bank account levy, and wage garnishment Liens against property are also commonly used.
Answer
It depends where you live (if American, what State you live in.) If it has come down to this then you have not made any effort to pay something down on your debt. Most credit card companies, banks, etc., don't want your property at all (it's a headache for them and they generally lose money on a re-sell) so I would suggest you seek a lawyer's advice if you think you may lose your property.
If you owe thousands of dollars to a credit card company(s) then yes, they will come after your home, car, and your furniture or anything else you own.
