Can you buy a car and then sell it to someone without registering it in your name?

Answer

Yes

Answer

Just don't put you name in the Buyer's line; leave it open and pass to your next buyer. Don't let it get around, it's illegal if you're not a dealer, in most states.

Answer

It is called curbstoning and as previously mentioned, is illegal. You can do a search on curbstoning to see what a nuisance it is to honest and reputable sellers. Furthermore, without registering the vehicle in your name, you are purposely circumventing procedures that would include payment of taxes and fees.

Answer

That's the idea.
