Long story short yes you can buy a visa giftcard with a Walmart giftcard. Long story below . My girlfriend and I got two Walmart giftcards from her parents for Xmas. They each had $100 dollars on them. Today 12-30-2011 my girlfriend took them to Walmart and bought two visa gift cards for $100 each used both Walmart cards and used a visa credit card to pay the $6.00 each gift card service fee. Everything is fine and dandy now we can use that $100 everywhere visa is accepted not just Walmart. :-)
