Can you change your Sims traits in the Sims 3 for Xbox 360?

(This is only for xbox :) You put the green light under your sim(s) then you hold LT on the controller(make sure your still holding it!!!) then you click A on your sim and there are two options: one of those options is to change your sims traits... the other one is to force them to age. TIPS: MAKE SURE YOUR STILL HOLDING LT WHILE PRESSING A.
