As long as you do not try to pass a journeyman or a tech off as a master.

Many fly by nights and crooked franchises say they are sending a tech out for a service call trying to beat Plumbing licensing laws.

I Charge $250 per HR AS A MASTER PLUMBER wHEN I WAS A JOURNEYMAN I ONLY CHARGED $90 Some localities pay a lot more some pass slightly less

Can you charge out as much for a journeyman as a master plumber?

Many master plumbers send out employees who are not master card holders and still charge the same rate. In locations that do not require an employee to have any type of license ( NYC for example) a Master plumber can hire over 500 employees and charge any rate they want. It is not uncommon for the franchises to say "we are sending a technician" out as they are trying to get over licensing laws and are able to charge master plumbers rates for non licensed /non skilled help

A journey man plumber is a person who went through and completed an apprenticeship program, or a training program. A master plumber is someone who takes an exam given by the state or city in which he works in. Where can I find plumber training in the Peoria, IL area?

You can use this page as a reference: http://www.edref.com/college-degrees/building-trade-and-construction/pipefitting-and-plumbing/illinois . There may or may not be a school available in your city but online training is readily available. Most plumbers learn their trade as an apprentice to a Journeyman or Master Plumber. In fact you have to work as an apprentice for a length of time before you can apply for your Journeyman's License. So the way to learn a plumber is to get a job with a plumber.

Cost for kitchen faucet replacement?

$150 -$175 per hr for a licensed plumber plus partsMany morons hire someone who claims to be a "plumber" or an electrican or a doctor without having any formal training or a license for the profession. A legitimate plumber will have either a journeyman's card and they work for a master or the master plumber will do the actual workThe licensed plumber will also have insurance and know the true cost of doing business.I paid one of my employees over $100 PER HR so it would be darn near impossible for me to charge $80 per hr unless I like to lose money for a tax write offYou get what you pay for.

What would you become after a apprentice?

An apprentice becomes a journeyman, and a journeyman becomes a master.
