If you meet the policy defintions of being disabled.
Broadly, there are two main policy definitions of "disability" found in policies. The first is an "any occupation" definition, which essentially requires the insured to be unable to perform any job for which he/she is suited by knowledge, skills and experience. This is a more narrow definition and it may be harder to qualify for benefits (depending upon your state of health).
The other definition is an "own occupation" definition, which means that you are unable to perform the material duties of the employment that you had at the time of the disabling event. For the most part, if you are able to perform other kinds of work, you may still be able to collect.
