Do employers pay fired employee's benefits?

No. An individual is not eligible to collect unemployment if they were fired from their position (unless they can show some reason that would show they were unlawfully terminated, but that is a case of its own).

Can one collect unemployment benefits is he is retireable?

If you voluntarily leave your job, and are not laid off, then you are not eligible for unemployment. Also, while on unemployment, you must keep records of your job search that show you are looking. One of the things you verify when you call in weekly is that you are looking for work and are available to work. If not, you run the chance of having to repay the funds.

Can you collect unemployment if you refuse a job offer?

If you turned down the other job then it's doubtful. To collect unemployment you need to show willing to get back into work, turning down a job puts you in a bad position when it comes to claiming benefits. There's usually a time-out period before you can start claiming again.

Can you collect unemployment if you were fired for attendance in Florida?

Your former employer is responsible for paying a portion of your unemployment. It's really not fair to them to make them keep paying you even though they fired you for being a lousy employee. So, probably not; you might want to contact the unemployment office anyway just to make sure. In general, if you were terminated "for cause" (meaning: you got fired because of something you did, like not show up for work), you're much less likely to be able to collect unemployment than if you were "laid off".

Can you collect disability after working eight years if you are 72 years old and collect Social Security from your deceased spouse?

You collect disability only if you show that you are unable to perform work, not that you worked as long as you have. If you worked eight years and there are justifiable reasons for quitting, as determined by your state's employment security office then you might be eligible for unemployment benefits. This has nothing to do with the Social Security you are presently receiving.
