It depends on the state, in Kentucky, even if you have applied for any social security benefits you are not intitled to any workmans comp. money. I would advise you to search the web. Put in your state, Workmans Compensation laws and keep looking you will find your answer.

Think about it.... No state in the Union (at least for now) would even entertain a notion of paying unemployment to someone collecting workman's comp insurance. To collect unemployment you must be able to work and looking for work. If you're able to work, you would no longer be covered under Workman's Comp.
As a former NYS Lic. Insurance agent in Accident & Health, from my understanding if is a disability policy which has been paid for after tax dollars without any employer contribution and is considered an indemnity policy short term paying a fixed benefit daily, weekly, or monthly for specific period of time, my understanding is that it pays above and beyond any other income or benefits you receive.
