Can you combine celexa and wellbutrin? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Citalopram (Celexa) and bupropion (Wellbutrin) are commonly prescribed together if a patient is not seeing a resolution of symptoms from either one alone. They can be taken together because they work by different mechanisms of action. HOWEVER, only take the two together if it is directed by your doctor. Anti-depressant medications are not to be taken lightly! Only your physician should determine if this combination is appropriate for *you* (i.e. if you have an old prescription for one of the two laying around, don't start taking it simply because there is not an interaction).
