this sounds a little too HOT!! Why 450degress?????
about 20 minutes per pound
The temperature I always bake my boneless skinless chicken breasts is at 350 degrees for about an hour to an hour and fifeteen minutes-max.
While steaks (beef) can be served rare, chicken must be cooked thoroughly to avoid food borne illness. And for that reason, chicken breasts must be cooked until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork or knife. To bake 3 boneless chicken breasts (bone in will take a bit longer), bake them for about 45 minutes at about 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
i think it is something like 45 minutes total at 350...but it is VERY IMPORTANT that you cover the chicken the first 25-30 minutes so that is does not dry out
350 degrees F.
Boneless chicken breast take 20 to 30 minutes to cook at 375 degrees. If you are cooking bone in chicken breast they will take 30 to 40 minutes. Both bone in and boneless are ready to eat when the internal temperature of the breast reaches 160 degrees.
They don't have to cook for long; probably 15 minutes or less on 350 degrees. You might want to kee an eye on them because they cook quickly and if they over cook they can get dried out.
First, I would recommend that you cook them in a covered dish as chicken breasts tend to get a little dry. You might want to put little water or broth in the bottom of the dish, as well. Cook at 350degrees for about 40-45 minutes. You can uncover them for the last 5 minutes or so if you want the bacon a little crisper Make sure to check w/a meat thermometer (to make sure they are at about 175 degrees) or, if you don't have one poke them with a fork and make sure the juices run clear.
according to the USDA and the FDA 170 degrees is required.
Least 40 minutes on 475 degrees.
Internal temp: 190 degrees
Bake a 3 pound chicken at 325 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
Chicken Caesar Salad: pound the chicken breasts flat with a kitchen mallet or a rolling pin, season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano, then grill or broil until cooked through. Cut into strips or chunks, toss with chopped or torn romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan cheese, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Crispy Baked Chicken: Mix mayonnaise, Old Bay seasoning (or other seasoning), and grated Parmesan cheese. Spread over each chicken breasts. Roll in/cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown and cooked through.
