According to the USDA there are many methods of cooking a turkey but in the oven it is not recommended to cook any turkey at a temp below 325degrees F.
It seems strange that my mother used to put the "bird in the oven" the night before and let it cook all night long. Nobody died. This is progress.
I have been cooking my turkey stuffed overnight for over 40 years. I buy a frozen turkey and thaw it in the refrigerator 3 days before cooking. I rinse it with water before stuffing and pat it dry with paper towels.For the dressing I cut stale white bread into cubes 1 1/2 loaves for a 20 lb turkey. I take the turkey liver and saute it with 1 pkg. jimmy dean sage sausage. I add it to the bread. I cut up one bunch fresh parsley and add it to the bread. I take 3 sticks of butter, 3 cups chopped celery and 1- 1/2-2 cups chopped onion saute together until veg's are soft. add salt and one whole jar spice island poultry seasoning. let cool and spoon mixture into bread mixing up each spoonful. Stuff turkey cavity and neck tight. secure neck flap with skewer. place an apple in rear to keep in stuffing. oil bird (I like butterball or any young turkey)season with poulty seasoning salt and pepper. place in double disposable aluminum pan. add 2 cups of water cover with heavy duty aluminum foil tented up off top of turkey breast. put in oven at 11:30-12 midnight at 175 degrees. remove foil at 6:30 am turn off oven. remove 30 minutes later. remove turkey from pan. scoop out dressing from both ends and put in warm oven until ready to eat. We eat at 4:00 pm.

Cook the thighs till they reach a temperature of 160 to 165 degrees. You can also slow roast them on 200-220.
14 pounds turkey, washed and dried salt dried thyme, crumbled dried basil, crumbled black pepper cayenne pepper white pepper butter, softened Rub turkey with butter. Wrap ends of legs and wings with aluminum foil to prevent burning while cooking. Sprinkle salt, thyme, basil, and three peppers (black, red and white) onto turkey and rub in well. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Place turkey in oven and cook at 500 degrees F until honey-colored (10-20 minutes). Leave uncovered. Lower heat to 200 degrees F and cook 40-50 minutes per pound. Baste occasionally. Do NOT stuff this turkey, due to the low cooking temperature. Cook dressing separate.
In a conventional oven, you would cook smoked turkey legs for about an hour in a preheated oven set to 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensure that the chicken is cooked by inserting a knife through the deepest part of the thigh and check that the juice runs clear.

Several hundred degrees. Ammunition is frequently heated to nearly 200 degrees in a closed vehicle or glove box, and does not "cook off".
I've been told 200 to 220 degrees.....

If it's 200 degrees! Your heater wont go that hot. Trust me.
The temperature before consuming should be 165 Degrees Fahrenheit. You can roast it to about 135 degrees, remove it from the oven, and let it rest for fifteen minutes tightly covered with foil, and the carry over heat will raise the internal temp to about 165.
You would cook a 1.85 kg chicken for about 2 hours to 2 hours and 10 minutes in a oven. The oven should be preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit/200 degrees Celsius.
