Yes and regardless you will see results. Know this though, if you don't follow a diet then the results will be less drastic then what you see on TV. If you are looking for abs you must relize that abs are made in the kitchen. If you can't follow a diet due to work or other life reasons just make sure to eat 3 meals a day and only eat till your satisfied and eat plenty of healthy snacks throughout the day in between meals. I always say if you are going to do it than do it right. Go on the diet, if you can't motivate yourself to go on a diet then you most likely wont make it through the 60 days of insanity.

YES it works but if you dont follow the diet it wont work as good as its spose to but without the diet you well still get built but not as good as you can with the diet. Theres lots of people that do it without the diet.
