Not directly. The video formats must be compatible with the formats that and iPod can recognize and play. YouTube videos are in .flv format which is not compatible. However there is a cool free little gadget you can get. Do a Google search on "Video Download Studio". It's hosted somewhere on Altavista. Once you have it you just go onto Youtube, find your video, paste the URL into the downloader, download it and use the Downloader to convert it into mp4 format.
You cannot download Fred videos, so you can't download them onto an iPod.

iPod can only play mp4 videos. If your videos are the right videos, you can transfer them to ipod directly with iTunes. If your videos are not the right formats, you need to convert them to iPod MP4 formats with a converter.
