This is a poor question. If you can drink, of course you can drink Reverse Osmosis (RO) treated water. The real question is, should you drink RO water. The answer is: you shouldn't drink RO water as a regular form of hydration. It is acidic and natural water is alkaline. Acidic water will, despite what the guys say that are selling RO home water systems, leach minerals from your body. Drinking Distilled or RO water for a couple of weeks will aid in detoxifying your body, but to continue to do so will cause serious nutritional deficiencies and eventual illness. In the '50s and '60s when I used to iron for my mother, she bought distilled water for the iron that said right on the bottle "Not safe for Drinking". Use carbon based filtering systems and you will remove most of the pollutants and poor taste qualities of your supplied water.
