I have no idea. Hope this helps.
I do. Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Flemming in 1928 by accident. It was first mass produced to help in the battle against syphillus. Charaterisitic with the disease, those that contracted syphillus were invariably keen on a drink and party. Thus doctors were forced to tell people taking this new drug that it reacted badly with alchol and would make their condition worse. This was to avoid the patient taking one or two days of penicillin and forgetting to take the rest of the course. This has since stuck. Any nurse worth their salt will tell you there are only two anitbiotics in the world that will clash with antibiotics. Hoever their name (of course) escapes me but they are extremely rarely used. So drink away!! The antibiotics will work but your liver wont, your body will thus be under further stress and your immune system down as a result...
The answer depends on the medication. Call your pharmacist or health care provider for advice specific to your situation.
Generally, it is not recommended by health professionals that you mix medication with alcohol. It may intensify the effects of the medication and cause you harm or it may neutralize it altogether; also, some medications cancel others out- antibiotics cancel out Birth Control (contraceptive) pills.
Yes, you can take antibiotics after drinking wine. However, this is not advised because it can cause problems with the antibiotics being absorbed properly.
No
Sure. But the antibiotics will be neutralized.

It is not a good idea to have any alcohol when taking any medications.
The official answer from most doctors is no drinking while taking Lexapro. However, my doctor said an occasional drink will be ok.
Yes! As an MD I recommend it as wine goes great with antibiotics.
is it dangerous to drink wine when taking Flexeril
It would be best to avoid alcohol while taking penicillin. Please call your doctor or pharmacist to get the best answer for your situation.
There is absolutely no interaction between prednisone and alcohol. You can continue to drink alcohol, safely of course. but prednisone is irritating to the lining of the stomach as is alcohol.
Drinking alcohol such as wine is not advised while on the drug capecitabine. Taking in alcohol may increase the risk of bleeding problems in patients.
You should never drink wine with medication, whatever your medication!
