Yes, cheese can be included in a healthy diet even when a person wants to lose weight.

Cheese is not a bad food. It contains protein, calcium and other nutrients we need. Having said this, I sugest minimizing whole milk cheeses and eat mainly low fat cheeses (read the label). If you can stand it, there are fat free cheeses but my experience is that the flavor is not as good.
