Yes, they are full of vitamin C and are a very healthy snack. I eat them when i find them on walks some times. But before you go and eat any, Steer clear of the nasty seeds inside. They are full of cyanide and can give you bloody diarrhoea.
a berry, though it is a living thing, is fruit. fruits do need nutrients from the ground but get it trough the roots of it's plant instead of eating. BERRIES DONT EAT!
