Normal consummation (not everyday) shouldn't be problematic if you only take lipitor at "lower" doses (like 10-20 mg a day). Interactions with grapefruits are well known, but pomelo hasn't been studied. His similarities with grapefruit (genetic derivative) might make us believe he should interact also with CYP 3A4 drugs (incl. lipitor)

∙ 13y agoThis is an emerging area of study however initial tests show a similar interaction to grapefruit. Both contain furanocoumarin derivatives which are considered to be responsible for the interactions.

That is a logical yes, any drug will be less effective if you eat before taking it as it gets mixed in along with the food taking longer to digest and longer to absorb; lessening the dose at any given time. Eating after taking valium and getting the effect will not lessen its effect though, so if you want to eat, take the valium first, wait for it to kick in, and then eat.
