I have a friend that lost 1/3 of her colon to diverticulitis and eats it about 4 times a week. Avoid the sesame seeds which are used as a garnish. Your sushi chef may have them ground up if you prefer the flavor of the seeds. Edamame has about 10 grams of fiber, so I always order that to offset the lack of fiber in the sushi.
