Please search "feeding wild deer" on Google. EVERY article pleads with the public NOT to feed wild deer even if you feel they are on the thin side. People do more harm to the deer population than good when they feed so please, resist the urge to feed the deer and instead look into planting tree's and shrubs that will aid in their natural diet.
Deer in your backyard eat the same thing as they do in the wild such as acorns, grass, and berries. But what you can feed them is dry corn.
