Yes you can get a cold sore under a nose if you have a runny nose because when you wipe your nose so much the skin it starts to hurt and becomes dry and not good.you could also just get a sore if its winter.

∙ 12y agoThe cold sore virus is spread by skin-to-skin contact with an infected person, at the location where the virus is active, during a time when they are shedding virus. Nobody will catch your cold sore by being near you, only by skin to skin contact with that area.
