herpes and pregnancy are two different things. herpes is an infection and it can be brought out by stress and worry. We have medication like acyclovir to minimize the discomfort. Make sure if you are pregnant to tell your doctor so he/she can deliver you safely and prevent blindness in the baby. but No herpes is not a sign of pregnancy. Joymaker rn

Some women do not have any such outbreaks, while others do-- but in either case, this is best discussed with your doctor, to make sure you are as healthy as possible during your pregnancy. It is worth noting that if you acquired herpes before you ever got pregnant, it is very unlikely this will do any harm to your fetus. Still, preventative care is always useful, so talk to your doctor sooner rather than later.
