Can you get a shot to prevent std?

Answer:
There are two sexually transmissible infections for which vaccinations are available for prevention. They are hepatitis B and HPV. The HPV immunization protects against many, but not all strains, of HPV, but is shown to decrease the risk of most of the the highest-risk subtypes (those that cause cancer) and, for one immunization, the most common causes of genital warts.
