Technically speaking, you aren't supposed to be able to. if you ask any store rep they will tell you no most likely. but if you talk to customer service after you get the phone you may very well be able to get rid of it. plenty of people have. i plan on getting it and trying and if i am successful i will port over my number. you get 30 days and you can get a temporary number so it's a win win situation. another route worth considering is buying the phone and activating it with them past the 30 days, paying the etf and getting a normal plan with a cheap phone and putting the sim in your iPhone. not sure if they can track this but worth a try for sure. others have done it.
Yes, you can use your iPhone 3G(S) to access the Internet if you have an available WiFi connection.
Yes you can but you will not get the benefit of the 3G network speed, you will only get EDGE. Also this will require an iPhone data plan change and if you had the unlimited plan on the iPhone 3Gs you will lose it and you will not be able to get it back.
oh yes! It has happened to me! Get the data pack!
It all depends on what your looking for. If you looking for Edge, 3g then no its impossible. But it should allow you to use Wi-fi
not anymore. all carriers force you to but a data plan with a 3g/4g phone
you will most likely get charged and i would not use the map if you dont have the data plan it will get very expensive
How much does an iphone 3G cost without network in the UK?
Yes, you have to have a data plan with AT&T or any other mobile phone company to place calls or use 3G. The data plan is approx. 30$ extra a month on top of the regular phone line costs.
I know the the 3g 8GB iPhone is $499.00 to purchase it with out a contract
Sprint 3g data is a data usage plan for Sprint phones. In general, if a user goes over a certain amount of data, such as 3g or more, then the bill may increase depending on the plan that is chosen.
