My two front teeth were crowned when I was 10 years old. Replacement caps were done at 20 and 40 years of age. I had braces from age 13 to 16, didn't wear retainer, got braces again at 25, didn't wear retainer, got invisalign at 50 years of age. I'm wearing the retainer. Your teeth will always return to their natural configuration without a retainer. Caps will not affect if or what type of braces you may choose.
You would probably get braces on every teeth except the ones with the crowns, BUT that is possibly wrong, so FOR THIS KIND OF INFO VISIT A DENTIST.
I did, they put it over the crown instead as only half of one tooth was fake.
you still can get braces; i had braces for 2 1/2 years

1.they remove the rubber bands 2.they remove the wire 3.they brake off the brackets 4.they remove the crowns from your molars 5.they scrape off the excess cement glue from the brackets -when they removed my braces, my molars hurt for a while from when they took off the crowns, and they did scrape the cement off a bit hard, but other than that i felt complete relief
