Can you get into UConn if you have a GPA of 3.0?

Answer:

Answer

you can get into UConn with a lot lower than 3.0. maybe you should think about raising your standards cause I'm sure you can get into better colleges than UConn although they do have some awesome parties
<-- That is an awful answer. It is quite obvious that whoever wrote that answer has not looked any statistics. Uconn is one of the most competitive public universities in the country, and has been the top ranked public university in the Northeast for nearly a decade. A 3.0 will make it difficult to obtain acceptance. However, a high SAT can counter that GPA.

Answer

That's not true at all, Uconn has gotten a lot harder. I know a lot of kids who didn't get in with 3.0 or close to it, and they live 30 minutes away.

Answer:

I go to UConn and it is very difficult to get into. I had a 3.25 GPA from high school and very high SAT scores, especially with my Math being in the 700s. Only about 2 people from my graduating class got in and many others got rejected. You need a lot of extra curricular activities as well. So, anyone who says UConn is a piece of cake to get into should try again, we are now one of the top Universities in the country and are getting more and more difficult every year.
