It's sometimes possible that you could get pregnant during depo or right after depo but I went through first three months with depo. I have been bleeding for so long with depo. I don't like it. I couldn't even try to get pregnant after I stopped depo. It's been a year to get my body back to normal. After a year, I started taking bc pills then got pregnant and it was tubal. I don't trust any of method, but Bc pills are a lot better than depo, norplant and IDU. BC pills helps your period back to normal. But of course, you could get pregnancy during bc pills.

Sometimes BC pills won't harm the babies. But if you think you're pregnant then quit taking bc pills. If you miss one pill or miss the period then stop taking the pills.

I myself am on depo and i used condoms for about 4 weeks before having unprotected sex. i did do it once though. i didnt end up pregnant but there is some possibility. dont stress too much. if you are worried go get a preg. test. :)

i was on the depo for about 4 years and i just got off in march of 2004. now I am trying to get pregnant and I can't. the doctor said it may take about a year. i didnt like the depo but when i was on it, it did prevent me from getting pregnant.

I have been on the depo shot for almost seven years. Besides the normal weight gain and slight mood swings, both of which I was aware of going in, I have had a very positive experience with the Depo shot. I was due for my last shot on 12/15/06, it is now the 21st. Although my husband and I do have a healthy sex life, I am not expecting to get pregnant very quickly, but hoping that some time in January I do concieve. 6 days and counting!
