Can you give a dog Advil? |
Answer
before you do you should really ask a vetrinarian that I bet if you go to you phone book an call they would just tell you.
-Absolutely NOT. People medications work very differently on dogs than they do on people. NEVER give your dog anything for people that your vet has not specifically told you to give him. For example, sometimes a vet will recommend aspirin for mild pain. Although this medication is sometimes given to dogs, you should never medicate your pet without direction from your vet. Even aspirin can be very harmful to some dogs, and the dosing is tricky between dog sizes.
