You walking have kinetic energy
A car/train/ship/aeroplane moving has kinetic energy
A rocket going into space has kinetic energy.
The Earth orbiting around the Sun has kinetic energy.
Any object that is moving has kinetic energy.
K.E. = 0.5 massvelocity^2
or
KE = = 0.5 m v^2
Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, and is defined as one half of mass times
the square of velocity. Evidence of kinetic energy include Examples of:
Orbital motion: moons about the planets, or the planets around the sun. The motion of the stars in a galaxy, orbiting satellites and space vehicles.
Random linear motion: On a molecular level, vibrations of molecules, gas molecules bouncing around a room.
Rotational or torquing motion: spinning flywheels, rolling balls or wheels
Projectile (parabolic) motion: a fired bullet, a thrown ball, a boy jumping
Linear motion: running, Bowling, aircraft in flight, a moving car or train, a boy Skateboarding
Anything that is moving has kinetic energy, for example:
A car in motion; a bullet that has been fired;any thing that is thrown, kicked....any kind of movement whatsoever generates kinetic energy.
Kinetic Energy is the energy of motion. It takes three forms -
Translational Kinetic Energy - bouncing a ball, running down the street, an apple falling from a tree;
Vibrational Kinetic Energy - the water molecules in food that is being microwaved;
Rotational Kinetic Energy - an ice skater as she spins, the electrons in atoms, a spinning top
Kinetic energy is the energy of motion. Running a race, throwing a ball or shooting the cue ball are examples of kinetic energy being used.
A bullet racing by a non moving observer has kinetic energy.
Two examples of kinetic energy is, a man skiing downhill of a snowy landscape. another example of kinetic energy is a tornado on an ocean.
When an ant is crawling it is possessing kinetic energy.
Cars or anything moving
energy of motion
Kinetic energy is a energy through movement. When some thing moves, it is kinetic energy.
Its a bad example, but some potential energy is involved. You convert chemical energy from the fuel to kinetic energy and heat energy. The kinetic energy drives you into the water. There the car sinks because of the height difference and gravity. This is a form of potential energy. A better example would be a person driving up and down a mountain. When driving up a mountain you store kinetic energy into potential energy. On the way down you regain the potential energy you stored, which results in a higher kinetic energy when driving down.
Kinetic energy is only conserved if the collision is elastic. All other collisions will have some loss of kinetic energy even when momentum is conserved.
a boulder falling through the air still has some potential energy, but some of its potential energy has changed to kinetic energy...so it has both potential and kinetic!
Some of its potential energy changes to kinetic energy.
There are many different forms of kinetic energy, but there are three that are most common. Linear Kinetic Energy (straight line motion) Rotational Kinetic Energy (Like a spinning top) Spring Kinetic Energy (A spring oscillating back and forth)
From my understanding, yes. A waterfall is an example of potential gravitational energy and kinetic energy. The water is moving downstream at a fast pace (kinetic energy) and when reaching the drop off the water gains potential gravitational energy and drops towards the ground. Mechanical energy is a mix between Kinetic energy and any type of potential energy so yes, a waterfall is an example of Mechanical Energy.

Kinetic energy is defined in terms of motion, so anything in motion is exhibiting kinetic energy.

heat gives things more energy if you heat them up. for example: if i had some oxygen gas in a container, if i heated the container, the particles would gain kinetic energy. the heat energy is changed INTO kinetic energy. BTW this question was very bad. there are many possible answers, i hoped i helped!

When you give your dog energy bites it keeps he/she stronger and with a better heart.

The some of potential energy + kinetic energy.
