Yes, you can have two planeswalkers in play, so long as they do not have the same name or type, otherwise they are subject to the Planeswalker Rule.
If you have two planeswalkers with the same name or type both of them most be discarded.
You can't have two Planeswalkers with the same 'type', meaning you can't have both Ajani Goldmane and Ajani Vengeant in play - while the two cards have different names, both are 'Planeswalker - Ajani', and would both be destroyed because of it.

∙ 12y agoYes, just as long as you don't violate the Planeswalker Uniqueness rule. You cannot have two Planeswalkers of the same subtype on the field. So you can have Jace the Mind Sculptor and Gideon Jura out in play at the same time, that is fine. But you could not have Jace the Mind Sculptor and Jace Beleran out in play at the same time, both have the subtype of Jace, to show both are the same person. In the same way as the Legendary rule stops two of the same Legendary being in play at once, the Planewalker Uniqueness rule will send both Jaces to the graveyard.

It depends on what type of game you want to play. If you're just looking to sit back and play with some pre-built decks in a pretty environment i'd recommend "Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012" on steam. If you want to get into a very complete system, with every card and you dont care if you have to pay for packs or if the graphics suck, id recommend "Magic the Gathering Online", basically its fun easy pretty game vs expensive, detailed, serious game with more options than the first.

They appear to be along the same lines as each other, with two big differences. One: Runes of Magic is Free to Play. This means no monthly fees, no fees to download the game. Two: In Runes of Magic, you can "exchange real money for diamonds" and use the diamonds to buy in-game equipment and things. Other than that they are both MMORPG's and have the same basic play style. However, World of Warcraft does NOT have housing of any kind, whereas Runes of Magic does have player housing and guild housing.
