As far as I know, all televisions are imported into the United States and that includes the last holdout, Zenith, which was recently bought out by LG electronics.
The reasons cited are usually the labor costs. It costs much less to have a television manufactured in Taiwan or China, etc., because the workers don't enjoy the earnings that American's make. That's partly because of the abundance of workers and manufacturers are naturally going to take advantage by keeping wages low.
