The Army requires a high school diploma OR its equivalent. Keep in mind that Army Recruitment Command has limits on the number of GED grads they may enlist. Talk to your recruiter to determine the best course of action for you to take.

∙ 15y agotalk to the recruiter, if anything they might be able to get you a waiver. recruiters can waive just about anything (even the asvab) so just call your local recruiter and make an appointment to talk to him.

∙ 9y agoNot normally, I failed to graduate high school ontime when I was a senior, I was about 2 credits short, I was about start my 5th year as a highschool student when my recruiter got me in short notice on a waiver. They only allow very few people to use them, I scored very well on the ASVAB test, my physical condition was exceptional and I had no criminal or medical issues at all, never even smoked pot.
So it is possible to join with a waiver for that but it will not be very easy to do, infact it is nearly impossible. I highly recommend getting your credits finished or a GED. Good luck.
