I think it depends on the cat! But one thing is universal: cat feces carry disease and infection for (any) person, not just newborns.
Safety points to ponder:
Also if you do have a cat and a newborn baby get a cat net for the babies bed/cot/crib.
Yes, but you should be there. Cat's don't actually "steal" baby's breath, but they are curious by nature, and will want to examine the baby.
Then, they sometimes smell the milk on the baby's breath and will climb on top of the babies chest to sniff at the breath. This is where that rumor about "stealing" baby's breath got started.
Regrettably, the weight of the cat can hurt the baby.
cuddling and petting a cat are quite safe but you should stay away from the litter box and/or clearing up the cats mess.
I'm no vet but I don't think baby oil is harmful to cats. If its safe on babies it's probably safe on cats.
"The product description explains that the baby must be able to hold his/her head upright. Obviously a newborn is not able to do this just yet. So the answer is no, the baby door bouncer is not safe for a newborn."
newborn kittens like most newborn mammals do best with milk from its mother. They are not yet ready for solid foods.
not that safe if the dog can jump high
The DaVinci will be great for a newborn and will grow with them.
yes because it's made for them its sensitive enough for their skin
they can be a smallest newborn only if you have a problem with the baby or if you have a miscarriage
You can feed your newborn dogs and cats a meal that is not from their mum after they are at least 3 months.
The average 7 lb. newborn baby weighs 3.178 kg.
A newborn baby is usually about 24 inches long, or two feet
That will most likely depend on the complications (if present) from the labor, the newborn's state of health, and the doctor's view if it is safe for the newborn as well as the mother to visit each other
I used to put some honey in my newborn son's bottle and, luckily, he was not allergic to it. However, now that I'm aware of the risks, I wouldn't repeat this experiment. So the answer is NO, just to be on the safe side.
